Chris Beatty

Head of Crown Environmental

I’m Chris. I started my career with the Crown Group back in 2006, making me one of the longest standing members in the Senior Management Team. I first joined the company as Business Development Manager, where I was responsible for bringing in new business, particularly in the construction industry.

In 2014, I was lucky to be given the opportunity to manage the newly formed company, Crown Environmental. Armed with a laptop, phone and a pen, I went off into the wilderness to bring in the business as Sales Manager.

Outside of work?

I’m a big fan of Bolton Wanderers and follow their ups and downs (mainly downs!) all over the country. I also have a passion for nice cars and fast bikes.

David Webb

Head of Operations

I’m Dave. I head up the Operations Team here at Crown Environmental and also get involved with Project Management. I’ve worked at Crown since 2014, where I’ve gained vast experience in the logistics sector. I’m also known to roll my sleeves up and get stuck in, cleaning tanks and uplifting fuel.

Before moving to Crown, I worked on the warehouse floor at a wholesale company, where I completed my forklift licence, LVM and OFTEC FT 600a certificate. During this time, I was able to improve processes and increase efficiency.

Outside of work?

I’m a proud father to two children and an avid Man United and Salford Reds fan. My first love…cars also keeps me busy as well as going to the gym.

Craig Rodgers

Business Development Manager

Hi I’m Craig. Born on November 2, 1982, I share my birthday with TV Channel 4 and am one of Crown Environment’s longest serving Account Managers.

Born and raised in Heywood, I worked in IT sales for a number of years, where I gained key account and project management experience. I then moved to Crown Oil where I worked in oil sales for a while, however my background in IT enabled me to quickly move into the Environmental Team to become the company’s data centre expert.

“Craig has excelled at helping companies to keep their fuel stocks replenished and their tanks clean. His passion for the customer and getting things done means he is a perfect fit the business.”

Outside of work?

My time is taken up by my three children, partner Kelly and cat. I’d prefer a dog - but don’t tell the cat (or Kelly!) I’m also a big Bury FC fan.

Dan Penrose

Business Development Manager

I’m Dan. I’m an Account Manager here at Crown Environmental, where I predominantly work on large scale jobs. I have worked at the Crown Group since 2016, where I have gained a lot of experience in the public sector and working with large blue-chip companies. I work with customers to meet the environmental needs of their business and also regularly get involved with cleaning tanks and uplifting fuels as I enjoy hands-on work.

Before moving to Crown, I worked in the motoring industry at Honda, where I learnt my trade, before progressing to Sales Manager at Mercedes and then Audi. I’m passionate about building long term relationships with my customers and I’m really proud that my customers always come back for repeat business.

Zoe Kallee

Operations Support

I’m Zoe and I’ve worked at Crown Environmental since May this year. Initially, I was brought in to support the Business Development Managers, however I have now moved into the Operations Team to help transform the service levels. My background is in retail so the move to an office was a major lifestyle change but I’ve settled in well.

“Zoe has gone from strength to strength arranging and organising our team of Engineers to ensure our customers are kept up to date with the progress of their jobs. She’s known in the office and out in the field for her cheery attitude and happy “Hiya!” whenever you meet her.”

Outside of work?

I love socialising and spending time with my family. On a Sunday I enjoy a good long walk in the countryside to help clear my mind of the stresses of Crown Environmental! (Only joking...)

Paul Wilson

Compliance Manager

I’m Paul and I have a lot of experience within the coal, steel, chemical and waste industries.
Starting my career aged 16 as a Gardener/Groundsman, I’ve had a varied career; working as as a Maintenance Fitter/Welder, Transport Manager, Operations Manager, COTC Manager and Managing Director within many trades. In 2005, I settled in the fuel and oil sector, where I developed and managed ISO Quality, and Health & Safety and Environmental Systems.

I joined Crown Environmental in July 2017, with the aim to help the business gain ISO accreditations, which we obtained in early 2018. I also manage and maintain the company’s environmental and health & safety compliance.

“Paul’s experience adds huge value to the Sales and Operational Teams, helping to tender and win many customers. Paul is the ‘Go to Guy’ and our very own Yoda! Supporting all of the teams, he is known for his fountain of knowledge, skills and excellent relationships within the fuel, oil and waste industry”.

I’m a proud Grandfather of many, which takes up most of my time!

Paul Kennedy

Business Development Manager

I'm PK, the southern connection to the office. I originally moved up to Bury 18 months ago from Milton Keynes.

I have 15 years' experience in different industries, but with the ultimate goal of giving the customer the best service. Account management and sales come hand in hand and I thrive on the excitement of new business being generated.

"PK prides himself on his organised working style and excellent phone manner. He always understands the customer's needs and has many different ways of dealing with projects. I can see PK going a long way within COE with this excellent work ethic."

Outside of work?

I have an 8 year old daughter who I love and also my home football team, Arsenal. I've supported them all my life through the good times (season unbeaten) to the bad times!
